Refund & Exchange Policy
Last updated: 2026. This policy applies to all orders placed on proudandfabulous.com and complements our Terms & Conditions and Shipping page.
1. Your right to change your mind (14-day withdrawal)
Under articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to withdraw, no reason required. To exercise it, simply email hello@proudandfabulous.com with your order number before the deadline.
2. Return conditions
Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with original tags and packaging. Items that have been visibly used, scented, or laundered cannot be accepted. Pack the items carefully — you are responsible for them until they reach us.
3. Items that cannot be returned
The following are excluded from the right of withdrawal (art. L.221-28 3° Consumer Code):
- Items personalised through the Studio (Customer-chosen artwork or text).
- Sealed hygiene items (e.g. underwear, swimwear) once unsealed.
- Gift cards.
4. Exchanges
We're a small team and do not run a one-for-one exchange flow. To swap a size or colour, simply return the item for a refund and place a new order for the one you want — that's the fastest way to get the right piece without it selling out in the meantime.
5. How to return an item
- Email hello@proudandfabulous.com with your order number and which item(s) you want to return.
- We reply within 2 business days with the return address and instructions.
- Ship the parcel — we recommend a tracked service.
6. Return shipping costs
Return shipping is at the customer's expense, except when the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or we shipped the wrong product — in that case we cover return shipping in full.
7. Refund timing & method
Once we receive and inspect the return, we issue the refund within 14 days to the original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal). The refund covers the product price; original outbound shipping is refunded only when the entire order is returned within the 14-day withdrawal window.
8. Defective, damaged or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or with the wrong item, contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@proudandfabulous.com with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free return and send a replacement or full refund — your choice. This is in addition to your statutory rights under the legal warranty of conformity (art. L.217-3 et seq. Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 et seq. Civil Code).
9. Lost or undelivered parcels
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbours and your local carrier office first, then contact us. We'll open a claim with the carrier and resolve it with you.
