OUR STORY
MADE INBASSOU
WITH PRIDE.
A brand imagined, designed and carried by a gay & ally team based in Bassou — a small rural commune in Yonne, France.
Bassou — the village
Pride has no postcode.
— Proud & Fabulous!
WHY WE EXIST
Three convictions, one brand.
Pride everywhere
The LGBTQIA+ community exists everywhere — including far from big cities. We carry its colors all the way to small French villages.
Made by hand
Every piece leaves a rural workshop in Burgundy, built to last. No fast fashion, no empty promises.
Bring people together
A brand, yes, but also a yearly festival — Bassou Fabulous — so pride is never just a t-shirt.
THE BASSOU WORKSHOP
A place, a hand, a team.
The place
Bassou, Yonne. A commune of a few hundred souls, fields, and a workshop that smells of coffee and fresh ink.
The hand
Screen-printed designs, pieces chosen to last — not to survive a single season. We'd rather do less, but do it right.
The team
Designers, screen-printers, everyday allies. A gay & ally crew who believes you can be country AND fabulous.
OUR MANIFESTO
Be proud.
Be fabulous.
Be you.
We don't sell a style — we carry a conviction: love is a force, pride is a celebration, and no one should have to hide it.
